Pavlidis on Symi
Aristotelis Pavlidis, the ex-Government Minister for the Aegean and Island Policy, arrived on Symi on the evening of 7th May in advance of the following day's celebrations. In the previous few days, Mr Pavlidis had been at the centre of a high profile Parliamentary inquiry that resulted in MPs voting against any further investigation into the awarding of the subsidised Dodecanese inter-island service to ANES and the boat Proteas in 2007.

We apologise for the jerky camera movement and the bad language in parts of this video. Nikos Halkitis of the Symi Visitor decided yet again to launch an unprovoked physical and verbal assault upon a cameraman working for a different website and newspaper and wearing an official press pass. |
